This business is terrible. They intentionally ask to be paid after work is done so they can add charges to your bill that you didn't agree or even ask for. We took my daughters prom dress in for alterations and came back to pick it up and they had done additional work I didn't ask for or authorize. I was told at drop off how much it would cost and that's what I brought to pay. They physically took my daughters dress from her and said if I didn't pay for it I couldn't have dress. I asked her multiple times to change price and explained how I was quoted a different amount and she said it was not changing more than a dollar or two. I only possessed the amount I was told and nothing else. I called the police and asked for assistance because I felt very wronged and they should be held accountable. I took the dress back from her and was on phone with police advising them that we were also being blocked in to store. I was never refusing to pay her just refusing to be double charged. The work was sloppy and crooked and dress covered in string and lint. The mall sent security to help and upon their arrival she agreed to accept my payment of what I was told I'd be charged and we left. I refuse to be threatened or bullied into paying for work I didn't authorize and you certainly don't get to take anything out of my child's hands and block us from leaving to wait for police. This escalated and was petty. I advised her of my disgust and how I would make sure people knew they were intentionally misleading people. I want people to know they are not ok to deal with and should not be trusted. I hope this never happens to another mother or person.
Consistently, the most reliable tailor I've come across in the Triangle. Kwang and her team are always friendly, courteous, and offer rush jobs when requested. Like most services of this type, you do have to be very specific about what you want to get the best results. The Shop works very hard to make a situation right if it's not exactly what you envisioned. I heartily recommend them without reservation. A+.
Best tailor in the triangle area! I've been coming here for 10+ years. They do great work at a very fair price. They will often do it within 30 minutes which is super accommodating.
Great business and customer service! I'll put the article of clothing on, and they know exactly what I need altered before I even say anything! Super friendly and efficient.
I've been getting my clothes tailored here for years. I recently got my wedding dress altered here. I was nervous because my dress is pretty unique and intricate, but they've done it again. They did such a good job!!! They told me the cost upfront and allowed me to come back for as many fittings as I needed. They were patient and helpful, not to mention fast!! I was in a slight time crunch and were willing to work with me and have the alterations done as soon as I could come in for my next fitting. My maid of honor had hers done the day before my wedding in a couple hours!! I've come in the past to get dresses and pants altered and it's always been perfect. Thanks Lees!! :)
I've never had anything altered before. I ordered a vintage dress to wear in a friend's wedding and it was a size too large. The process couldn't have gone easier, quicker, or less painless. And the finished product was perfect.
Great service. I had been there to get length alternations for few of my trousers, i wanted them urgently as i was flying out of town the next day evening. None of the tailors around could help. These guys have "Rushed service" for an additional $1, and i was able to pick up my trousers the next day noon. And they did a great job too. Keep it up guys!
Lee's is one of the ONLY spots I will take my clothes and things when I need them tailored. The turn around time is always great. The team of seamstress do a great job. The prices are high... I've spent as much as $110 to have a 2piece suit altered. Now mind you that included everything from shoulder pad swaps to taking in the suit. The work is amazing and when you get your product you see why you spend so much. You really do pay for what you get and if you want it done right the first time, come see Lee's. I see Quan as she is always awesome. She will tailor your outfit to your need. Also see Daniel. I tend to spend a lot more when he is doing my measurements. Either one is great! 5 STARS TEAM LEE!
These guys are a miracle! They were able to take 5 shorts and hem them within an hour, and the price was too good! They were very nice and helpful, quick and simple, and even though they are a 30 minute drive from my home, it's worth it!
They are champions at wedding dresses. Give them time in advance before you alter and if you plan on losing weight go closer to the month of your wedding. Hands down most pleasing experience I've ever had with customer service in all of my wedding planning! I needed my dress hemmed and fitted and they fixed it perfectly, even giving it a light steaming to help bring out some of the wrinkles!! My wedding had me stressed and I dropped two sizes between the time I had it altered and the week of my wedding. Tight time frame? They are so great, they fixed it in a week!! Saved me so much stress and time trying to get it done else where. Not to mention I forgot to have the bustle put in and the sweet manager had it done while I was at my rehearsal for the wedding the night before! Oh my goodness they've saved my dress and made my big day perfect. Stellar customer service, especially the ladies who work front desk. They are the best team and if you want a quick quality job done, they're your best bet!!
Efficient and precise! Lee's Tailor Shop fixed my dress in a day at a very reasonable price. They are open until 9 and very responsive to any calls or questions you have. I recommend using this shop for any and all of your alterations.
